These Bacon Wrapped Potato Wedges are so delish and easy to prepare for the kids and any gathering with family and friends. I always get some Irish potatoes (my Liberian folk know) from the grocery store for some potato salad (recipe coming I promised), and this day I decided to add a different twist and flavoring to my potatoes with some bacon. In my kitchen, you can never go wrong using bacon for flavoring with any dish.
Bacon Wrapped Potato Wedges are a starchy vegetable with high quality protein and virtually no fat. They’re also great sources of vitamins and minerals. However, cooking methods may change their nutritional content. When you consume them in moderation, baked potatoes may help you manage your blood sugar levels and lose weight, if that’s one of your goals. They also have cancer-fighting properties and may improve heart and gut health. Also, like any other high-fat animal protein, bacon has its place in a balanced diet if consumed in moderation.
For storage, let your dish cool completely and you can either leave them wrapped in foil or unwrap them (it’s all preference). Then, store them in the fridge for up to one – five days.
