DIY Turmeric Ginger Latte

This Turmeric Ginger Latte is a very easy two-three ingredients latte for the cold chilly days of Autumn, Winter or Rainy season. I love to be creative my drinks and after enjoying this drink for many times I thought it would be a great choice to share with my okra pantry family!

So, as I said earlier this latte drink requires a turmeric flavor honey ginger tea, coffee creamer, hot water and some whipped cream. All these ingredients are easy gathered in your pantry or local markets. I usually purchased the Pocas Honey Ginger Tea from my local Walmart and ethic stores, and they are available in various flavors for your taste. The Pocas tea can also be order online from Amazon or Walmart. This drink is very great for fighting the cold and those sore throat symptoms. Pocas Honey Ginger Tea offers a host of powerful health benefits. The aromatic, spicy roots have been used in both traditional and Western healing systems to make tea. Honey is an excellent medium for transmitting the benefits of herbs such as ginger to the body. (Disclaimer – I am not being paid by this company for review or advertisement purposes.)

Also, when used in moderation it is ok to take turmeric and ginger together. They are both considered safe and healthy additions to a well-rounded diet. This tea is perfect for sipping any time of day, but it’s especially soothing right before bedtime. Ginger and turmeric both have anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that daily consumption of ginger can reduce inflammation in osteoarthritis patients. Turmeric, on the other hand, has been found to be as effective as common anti-inflammatory medicines like aspirin or ibuprofen. So, enjoy friends and thank me later lol!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 packets Pocas instant honey ginger tea (turmeric flavor)
  • 4 tbsps creamer
  • whipped cream (optional)
  • pinch of ginger powder (optional)

Instructions

  • Using a mug, add 2 cups of hot water
  • Stir in 2 packets of Pocas ginger tea
  • Add in creamer and mix evenly
  • Add whipped cream topping with a pinch of ginger powder sprinkles on top
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
